my story, so far.

started my career with humble beginnings, as a Java software developer 22 years ago, and i have since held a variety of engineering roles, including senior director of engineering.

always enjoyed mentoring, working & building with teams.

i continue to learn, write and build using Java (yeah, the website sucks), loved Helidon on the way. and i continue to build & learn cloud computing (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), databases like mongodb and a lot more. You may see my work on Github.

also love to explore coffee, cook, food photography & travel.

open source (love)

i strongly believe in open source software (OSS). businesses use a ton of them to build applications and platforms on top of them but unfortunately a very few give back.

a few projects i follow, contribute & involve are Open JDK, Apache Sling, Jackrabbit OAK, Adobe projects, Angular, Material Angular, Ionic, JakartaEE, Helidon, MondoDB, Dropbox Java SDK, Google Cloud Java SDK, Azure Libraries SDK, ElasticSearch, IBM’s Carbon Design System.

i also have some projects that are open sourced including JAQ Stack, CORDBoard,

never a life without failures

started a ran a small business / a small software company. started with a few of us, grew to a god scale of about 20 actively employed. 2008-09 crises killed us though. had to wind down and move to America for work.

learnt a ton of lessons along the way. and would love to repeat all of it again.
